I am a passionate creative artist always looking for the world to impart it's beauty on me. Whether that be a beautiful person, a morning sunrise or a sweeping landscape vista. My job is to recognise, visualise and record that moment.
I picked up my first SLR at the age of 12 and haven't stopped shooting, in fact I still occasionally shoot with that very camera and it still performs well after all these years.

I mostly use traditional photographic tools and film cameras, Shooting film allows me to slow down and be "in the moment" before taking the photo. This way I have a more introspective approach to photography. The feel of film, smell of developer and the textile pleasure of traditional processes fuels my passion for traditional Photography.

I'm in love with black and white film and print all my work on traditional silver gelatin papers in the darkroom. I also shoot colour but prefer a hybrid workflow involving high resolution scanning for my colour work.
